BOVI, Bank of Valletta's private banking arm, has launched two new foreign currency term deposit accounts. A four-year term deposit denominated in sterling and a five-year term deposit denominated in euros will be available.

BOVI is offering this product for a limited period only.

The BOVI foreign currency term deposit accounts feature an annual rate of interest of 4.625 per cent for the sterling deposit and a four per cent rate for the account denominated in euros. The interest rates offered are higher than those currently offered for normal foreign currency accounts.
