New general manager for Crowne Plaza Malta

Intercontinental Hotels Group has appointed William Latour as its new general manager for the Crowne Plaza Malta hotel.

Mr Latour has vast experience within the Intercontinental Hotels group chain, varying from food & beverage and sales to general manager positions in France, Jordan, the UAE and Lebanon, and most recently at the InterContinental Asmara.

Mr Latour is very positive about joining the Crowne Plaza in Malta and said he is very encouraged by what he has already seen of the country and the great hospitality extended to him by his staff and the Maltese people.

He is looking forward to working closely with the local business partners, the hotel team and the challenge of maximising the hotel's potential.

The Crowne Plaza Malta hotel has 187 rooms, including 13 suites, offering all the five-star amenities, including broadband Internet connections in all the bedrooms and conference rooms.

The Crowne Plaza Malta hotel is owned by Tigné Development Company and forms part of the InterContinental Hotels Group.
