New HDi diesel engine for 307

Peugeot's 2004 307 model line-up includes a brand-new 136 bhp 2.0-litre HDi, integral paintwork and 17" alloy wheels. The new model, expected shortly in Malta, also has the option of the gris fer colour, hitherto reserved for the 307 CC.

Inside, in a dynamic environment featuring metallic decorations and aluminium front door sills, the car has sport seats with an exclusive leather/fabric trim.

In the central part, the fabric - called Speed Up - features a grey/black mesh with an aluminium strip applied to the top of the seat back, while the surrounds and head restraints are made of leather.

The top-of-the-range specification of the 307 HDi 136 includes automatic air-conditioning, a mono CD car radio, a leather steering wheel, front fog lamps, an automatic windscreen wiper with rain sensor, automatic activation of the front headlamps and an electrochrome-plated interior rear-view mirror.

Among the available options, these new versions of the 307 can receive the RT3 telematics system comprising a CD car radio with integral GPS navigation, a GSM telephone, and emergency and assistance services. They can also be equipped with the rear parking assistance recently developed on saloons.

The new engine is also available on the range-topping 307 SW Griffe. This comes with grey or onyx paintwork, 16" wheels, black leather trim seats, tinted windows, automatic air-conditioning, CD loader, electric folding door mirrors, and carpet and aluminium front door sills featuring the Peugeot logo.

The 307 SW's immense glass roof illuminates the interior. Luxury, brightness, modularity, dynamism and environmental protection are among the new strong points of the 307 SW Griffe HDi 136.
