New judges sworn in

Claire Stafrace Zammit and Brigitte Sultana take their oath of office

Claire Stafrace Zammit and Brigitte Sultana took the oath of office as judges before President Myriam Spiteri Debono on Monday afternoon.

Prime Minister Robert Abela and Chief Justice Mark Chetcuti were present for the ceremony, held at the palace in Valletta.

The appointment of the two former magistrates was announced on March 26.
