Malta International Airport yesterday got an accolade from its new chairman, Michael Hoeferer, who described it as "a well-managed company, equipped with state-of-the art technology and which prides itself of a workforce that delivers". Mr Hoeferer was yesterday taken on a familiarisation tour of the airport. He said the company would soon introduce awards for employees who excel in efficiency and dedication.
Audrianne Gatt, a member of the passenger services department won a weekend break for two persons in Vienna as the winner of the first best employee suggestion competition that MIA introduced earlier on this year.
