Prime Minister Eddie Fenech Adami yesterday evening unveiled a new monument in San Gwann designed by artist Paul Vella Chretien.

The monument, called Kolonna Eterna (Eternal Column), in Triq il-Kappella, was commissioned by San Gwann council.

The artist, who is a lecturer at the Restoration Centre in Bighi, specialised in arts during his studies in Italy. He had then gone on to lecture in arts and ceramic-making for five years in Australia.
