New premises for Melita Cable, Video On Line

As part of the Melita Cable plc and Video On Line restructuring plan, both companies have announced plans to relocate from their premises in Rue d'Argens, Gzira, to the new Gasan Centre in Mriehel in March.

The new purpose-built offices in the Gasan Centre will enable Melita and VOL achieve a fully integrated, customer-focused organisation, functioning in an environment conducive to serve subscribers of both services.

Operating on an open plan layout, the new customer services centre aims to increase efficiency and value of response to customer enquiries by optimising resources in a modern communications centre.

This move has also created the opportunity for both companies to place operational and technical departments into a centralised location at the Melita Cable Headend facility in Madliena.

In a recent statement, Danny Rosso, managing director of Melita Cable plc, described the move as one that augured well for both companies in their drive to improve customer relationship management.
