Jamesons Irish Whiskey and Frenchies Nightclub at the Crowne Plaza have teamed up to offer new musical talent the chance to be discovered.

On competition nights, candidates aged 16 and over will each be given a time limit of 30 minutes for a performance to be judged by a panel from the audience. The finalists achieving the highest marks will have another 30 minutes in which to perform during the final nights of the competition.

The closing date for applications is June 30, and the first "New Talents Discovery" night will be held on July 12.
