The new Penny Black Wine Bar at The Victoria Hotel, in Sliema opens tonight.

Open to both hotel residents and non-residents, the bar will hold regular art exhibitions for patrons to enjoy with a choice of the best local and foreign wines.

To inaugurate the event, bar will be teaming up with the Marsovin's private estate selection wine, Cheval Franc, as well as renowned jazz trio Christian on keyboards, Mario Abela on bass and Joe Vella on drums for tonight's launch party. Works by artist Christine Xuereb will be on display.

Patrons will be able to savour complimentary platters and dips while enjoying Cheval Franc at a specially reduced price.
