British family-owned farming and dairy company Yeo Valley has been farming in the beautiful Yeo Valley since 1961, when the Mead family first bought the farm in Somerset, in the southwest of England, where they have been milking cows ever since.
The family believes in organic farming not only because it produces healthier and more sustainable food but also because it’s better for the world we live in.
Today the brand is the largest family-owned dairy business in the UK, with 1,200 acres of farmland and 420 award-winning British Friesian cows.
Supporting family farms is at the heart of everything the brand does, which includes buying all of its extra British milk from other farmer co-operatives.
