In his article Labour Leads In A Way... Austin Sammut stated that Emmanuel Mallia is "a disgruntled Nationalist who failed where he wanted to succeed". I wish Dr Sammut to note that:

Dr Mallia is lawyer well known to thousands of Maltese and Gozitan citizens. He does not need to write articles in the press, like Dr Sammut (also a lawyer), so that he can be known.

Dr Mallia does not need to be "disgruntled".

He is a person who can "give" a lot to any organisation he may choose to affiliate with and not vice versa.

He does not need political favours to be appointed on some public entity as some lawyers, well known to Dr Sammut, have done throughout their professional careers.

Lastly, Dr Sammut may have mistakenly confused Dr Mallia's identity with some of his relatives by affinity, who left the PN in the 1960s to start their own political party.

As far as I know, Dr Mallia has not established any new political party. However, he is so very welcome, if he so decides, to join our new movement. He has a wealth of experience to give us and we have so very little to give this professionally and economically well established gentleman.

We should be so happy and honoured to have him on board. Your great loss, Dr Sammut, will be our cherished gain.
