Labour MP Owen Bonnici this evening asked in parliament what the government's position is about a proposal for the Gozo flag to be displayed at all official functions in Gozo alongside the Maltese and EU flags and for the Gozitan anthem to be played in a formal manner and not informally and occasionally once Gozo is recognised as a region.

The minister, Giovanna Debono, said the government has no plans to change current arrangements regarding official activities in Gozo.
