Maltese hardcore metal band Norm Rejection has just released its latest CD. The Belligerent EP features five songs: three new tracks and, for the first time ever on CD, the two songs that appeared on Subtly Mesmerized?, the band’s debut 1994 demo that had so effectively introduced Norm Rejection to the Maltese music scene.

The demo, which included the tracks Subtly Mesmerized (Pangea’s Neglect) and Distorted Visions, had sold out within weeks of its release.

Apart from the title track, the new songs are Encounter and Kemm Hawn Dwejjaq Fil-Pajjiz, the latter a direct social statement delivered in Norm Rejection’s trademark full-frontal attack mode, which probably explains why the song has quickly become a live crowd favourite alongside Norm anthems such as Blaster and Malta Not For Sale.

The song can be streamed for free at www.myspace.com/normrejection. The band will shortly be announcing the date of the official CD launch. The current formation is Wil Pace on vocals, Michael Briguglio on drums, Sean Vukovic on guitar and Rex on bass.
