Notte Bianca organisers are urging the public to use public transport to attend the event on Saturday to avoid heavy traffic congestion and parking issues.
Buses
Malta Public Transport is organising a special extended bus service.
The following routes will operate from and to Valletta between 11pm on Saturday and 2am on Sunday as follows:
N13: Pietà-Msida-Gżira-Sliema Ferries-St.Julian's-Paceville
S20: Pietà -Msida-Rue D'Argens-Mrabat-San Ġwann-Kappara
S30: Pietà -Msida-Skate Park-Bypass-Iklin-Għargħur-Naxxar-Mosta-Burrmarrad-Bugibba
S40: Pietà -Msida-Birkirkara Valley-Lija-Mosta-Mġarr (Optional)
S41: Pietà -Msida-Mosta-St-Paul's Bay-Xemxija-Mellieħa-Ċirkewwa
S50: Ħamrun-Fleur De Lys-Attard-Rabat-Mtarfa (On Request)-Dingli
S60: Ħamrun-Marsa-Qormi-Żebbug-Siggiewi (On Request)
S80: Marsa-Paola-Tarxien-Zejtun-Għaxaq-Marsaxlokk-Birżebbuġa
S90: Paola-Fgura-Żabbar-Marsaskala
S10: Senglea-Cospicua-Vittoriosa-Kalkara-Xgħajra (On Request)
S70: Luqa-Kirkop-Safi-Żurrieq-Mqabba-Qrendi
Route 133 will operate a shuttle service around Valletta every 15 minutes between 5pm and midnight.
Holders of a tallinja card will be charged the special night fare of €2.50. Non-card holders will be charged €3 in cash on the bus.

Gozo Channel
Gozo Channel will provide a special service to Valletta departing Mgarr on at 5.30pm. The return ferry will departs from the Valletta Cruise Port Terminal on Sunday at 1pm.
Ferry Services - Sliema/Three Cities
The ferries will operate a shuttle service from the Sliema to Marsamxett, Valletta and from the Three Cities to Lascaris, Valletta and back. The services will continue until Sunday at 2am.
Taxis
A taxi service will be available from the Floriana Bus Terminus.
Car parks
The Park & Ride car parks in Blata l-Bajda, Floriana and Valletta will all be in operation.
Upper Barrakka Lift
The Upper Barrakka lift will be operating free of charge from 7pm on Saturday to 2am on Sunday.
Road closure
Roads leading to inner Valletta and the Valletta ring road will be closed for vehicular traffic except for residents.
Medical services
Medical services will be provided in the following locations:
• St Elmo Place
• 15, Palazzo Castellania, Merchant Street Valletta (Ministry of Health)
• Ordinance Street
• Old Theatre Street corner with Merchant Street
Each location will have a number of ambulances and trained members of the staff who will provide the necessary help. Medical services are limited to emergency care only and urgent transportation to Mater Dei Hospital should the need arise.
In case of a medical emergency on should go to the nearest medical point if possible, draw the attention of a roaming first aider, police officer or civil protection personnel or call 112 and clearly indicate your name, exact location, nature of emergency and contact number.
CPD
The Civil Protection Department will be operating and coordinating fire, rescue and medical units on location. Several units will be designated in strategic positions to render emergency assistance efficiently during the whole event.
Supporting the CPD will be the NGOs, the St John Ambulance and St John Rescue Corps, the Red Cross, Emergency, Fire and Rescue Unit (EFRU), the Malta Amateur Radio League (MARL), the Civil Protection Volunteers and the Department of Health.
The CPD advised parents to have their children tagged with their name and the parents/carers’ mobile number.
Lost children would be taken to Valletta Police Station from where the parents/carer would be contacted to pick them up unless otherwise agreed
Civil protection services will be provided in the following locations:
• Girolamo Cassar Street
• St Elmo Place
• Ordinance Street.
