OASI Foundation holding 4th edition of ‘Jump for Life’ on Sunday
Event raises awareness on addiction recovery and community spirit
The OASI Foundation is holding the fourth edition of Jump for Life at Xlendi Bay, on Sunday, December 28, from 8.45am to 1pm.
The unique end-of-year event combines outdoor adventure, family fun and social purpose, aimed at promoting community spirit while raising awareness about addiction recovery and mental well-being.
Participants will enjoy a morning packed with activities, including a scenic hike, an exciting kayak experience and the much-anticipated symbolic jump into the sea ‒ a powerful gesture representing courage, renewal and taking the first step towards change.
The event will also feature Christmas activities and characters for children.
Organised by the OASI Foundation, an NGO dedicated to rehabilitation and recovery services, the Jump for Life highlights the importance of solidarity, support and hope in the journey away from addiction.
Through physical activity and shared experiences, the event encourages positive lifestyle choices and reinforces the message that recovery is possible.
The OASI Foundation stresses that the event is not about the physical challenge alone, but about coming together as a community, supporting one another, and ending the year with a meaningful act of unity and awareness.
It also stresses the importance of avoiding alcohol and drugs during this festive period, reminding the public that celebrations can be enjoyed safely and meaningfully without substance use, especially during a time of year that can be challenging for many individuals and families.
