The official inauguration of the new premises of the Honorary Consulate of Malta in Strasbourg took place recently.

The premises situated at 51, Avenue de la Foret-Noire, newly re-decorated by Honorary Consul Eric Mayer-Schaller in period style, was the setting for over 60 invitees, including two French senators from the Bas-Rhin region, mayors, deputy-mayors, members of the consular service, members of the local business community and members of the Maltese community living in Strasbourg, including European Human Rights Court Judge Giovanni Bonello.

Ambassador Mark Miggiani was also present to congratulate Honorary Consul Eric Mayer-Schaller and to establish contact with the members of the Maltese community as well as the other invitees present.
