This is not the usual complaint but a note of thanks for the excellent services provided by Queen's Laundry and Dry Cleaners.
I was introduced to this company by qualified persons dealing in clothes and clothes-making. I must admit that this advice was worth following. The company offers excellent dry cleaning services with a first-class after-sales service. I will just share one very recent experience.
I sent in a quilt to Queen's which was subsequently returned. On opening it up and checking it out I found that it had some blemishes on the surface. I immediately contacted the company and was greeted by a very cordial attendant who explained that there is nothing which cannot be remedied and promised that she would pass on my complaint to the director.
Some time later the director himself phoned me up at home to see what my grievance was. He assured me that he would personally see to it and promised he would call for the quilt. We fixed an appointment and at exactly the agreed time he came round to examine the quilt.
He patiently explained what could have happened and apologised for the trouble. He explained the whole dry cleaning process and what went wrong with my quilt. He promised to take it back himself, see to it that it was re-cleaned, and bring it back himself to my home.
From the discussion which followed we realised that Queen's really care about their customers and they are experts in the art of dry cleaning. The director explained to us all about the respective chemical processes involved in dry cleaning and said that he is always researching new methods of cleaning clothes and garments. His knowledge of the dry cleaning process is extraordinary.
My quilt was recleaned and, as promised, returned to my home by the director himself who, once again, apologised for what happened and said that he was now happy to see his customer satisfied with the work done. I promised Queen's that I would certainly write up to you about this positive experience.
