On a positive note

I would like to recommend Stained Glass Ltd of the AMAL Group in Qormi for their innovative work in fused glass as well as for their customer orientation.

Under the direction of Alison Fenech Gasan, they have recently undertaken the task of producing a challenging piece of work in fused glass inspired by Henri Matisse's Blue Nude I of 1952, which a couple of other companies specialised in similar work had considered to be too demanding.

The first attempt by Malcolm Zammit, who also very ably adapted the design for glass fusion, was successful, save for the unfortunate formation of a naturally occurring, though visually disturbing, conspicuous air bubble right at the centre of the work.

Stained Glass Ltd. readily accepted to redo the work within just a few days, and the result this time was to everybody's satisfaction. Their efforts are highly commendable.

Indeed this must be something well worth seeing. I actually called Ms Xuereb and I hope that somehow we will all get the opportunity to see such a "challenging piece of work", as Ms Xuereb put it.
