On a positive note

I would like to say a big thank-you to Joseph of Muscat's Opticians of Republic Street, Valletta, for providing me with much-needed sight glasses accessories. At the other outlets I was greeted with comments such as "I don't have any" and "I don't import them".

However, unlike most of the other people I spoke to in almost all dispensing opticians, outlets all over the island, Joseph promised me to do his best and that is what he did. He ordered these items specifically for me.

This is what I call excellent customer service whereby you have a very grateful and satisfied customer. (Tony Mallia)

In a 'one good turn deserves another' spirit, I take the opportunity to focus on another very important positive note - Air Malta's implementation of a "no smoking" policy on all its flights. This came into effect with the introduction of the winter schedule. Well done, Air Malta! We hope many other Maltese companies and institutions will follow Air Malta's example.
