Hardly electrifying
After the controversy over the way ARMS Ltd calculates our water and electricity bills erupted last year, we were promised that the government would be “carrying out a review and will reach a solution” to sort out the problem. Funny how long some reviews take. Meanwhile the bills keep coming…
Mind the gap
Pedestrians in Cospicua must watch their step as damaged roads have been temporarily re-paired… with planks of wood. It’s a shame that while the authorities pull all the stops to ensure that main roads are of the highest standards, pedestrians have to contend with such roads.
Upgrade needed
Tower Road in Sliema is in urgent need of some repairs. The busy street is riddled with potholes, while parts of it seems to have started caving in. Surely, given how popular the locality is with both locals and tourists, efforts should be made to ensure the area is in an impeccable state.
Good service
he workers at the passport office in Valletta should be commended for the impeccable service they are providing. The office, despite being always busy, runs smoothly and every member of staff there, from the receptionist to the clerk issuing passports, do their job brilliantly, with a smile on their faces. Other government entities should aim to emulate their colleagues at the passport office. Job well done!
