Online tool shows which Housing Authority schemes you qualify for
A new filter tool helps users identify which schemes they are eligible for
The Housing Authority has introduced a new webpage featuring a filter tool that helps users identify which housing schemes and measures they qualify for.
The website includes a page titled Schemes and Opportunities, which lists all the schemes and measures available through the Housing Authority.
A new filter panel enables users to narrow down the options by selecting criteria such as scheme category, whether they are a landlord or tenant, their income, and their age.
To access the page, users can visit the Housing Authority’s homepage, hover over the Services tab, and select Schemes and Opportunities.
This new feature was announced during a press conference on Wednesday titled Ħabbtilna.
Housing Minister Roderick Galdes opened the conference by highlighting the various schemes offered by the Housing Authority, noting that some people do not make use of them simply because they are unaware they exist.
“Ħabbtilna is an information campaign to show people which schemes and measures they are able to access,” he said.
Housing Authority CEO Mathew Zerafa stated that, with the authority’s support, a family buys a home every other day, while two families a day improve their living conditions.
He praised the new filter system on the website, saying it will help people easily learn about the schemes the authority offers.
