Open Day at Qormi school

On February 3, an Open Day was held at St Joseph Primary School, Qormi.

The pupils prepared masks, paintings, paper chains and clowns, clay statues, Carnival floats and other interesting items. They were all eagerly waiting for their parents and their visitors.

Parents enjoyed the atmosphere their children had created. They admired the creativity of each Carnival float and had the opportunity to go around each classroom, talk to the teachers and the pupils.

A competition for the best Carnival float was organised in each class. Certificates for participation were given to every pupil for working so hard on their Carnival floats. This involved lots of work, creativity and patience.
