Open day at model aircraft association premises

Visitors will experience Malta’s strong tradition in model aircraft building and flying

The Malta Model Aircraft Flying Association (MMAFA) is holding an open day tomorrow and on Sunday at the MMAFA flying site, in Ta’ Qali.

The annual event showcases the fascinating world of radio-controlled model aviation with scale models, aerobatic and helicopter flying, static displays and a flight simulator for children inside the clubhouse.

Visitors will thus experience Malta’s strong tradition in model aircraft building and flying, and meet the talented pilots and craftsmen behind the highly detailed models.

A BBQ for members will also be held tomorrow.

The MMAFA premises will be open to the public tomorrow from noon onwards and on Sunday from 10am.
