It is scary to note that people like Marie-Therese Scicluna (May 14) still exist among us.

What will Ms Scicluna say when one of her children or grandchildren tells her he or she is gay, or that she wishes to leave her husband because she is suffering from abuse?

Will she tell them to put up with the abuse rather than go against a "holy sacrament"? Will she tell her gay family member not to hear Mass because being gay goes against God's laws?

Open your eyes Ms Scicluna and just try and join us in the 21st century.
