The Times (August 19) carried an old photograph of the Royal Opera House in 1942. Since I am a professional artist and have contributed to the arts for many years, I would like to express my desire to see at least every side of the building being rebuilt as it was.

The Valletta Waterfront has given us an example of leaving the façade intact. Inside we can then meet our present requirements, such as with an art gallery, a museum, shops and other amenities.
