Restoration work on the wooden box of a church organ at St John's Co-Cathedral will soon start thanks to a contract signed yesterday between the Valletta Rehabilitation Project within the Ministry for Resources and Infrastructure and MC Restauri, an Italian restoration company based in Noto, Sicily.

The restoration of the box is financed by the Italian financial protocol and will take place in Sicily. The agreement was signed in Sicily by Ray Bondin, from the Valletta Rehabilitation Project, and Corrado Milo, from the Italian company that restores church organs. The organ was in fact made in Sicily.

The curator of St John Co-Cathedral, Daniela Apap Bologna, was present for the signing.
