Over 40 bands and singers for Beer Festival

Over 40 singers and bands will be in attendance at this year's The Farsons Great Beer Festival which starts this evening at Ta' Qali National Park.
The 24th edition of the festival kicks off at 7.30 and will run until August 1. Radio station XFM 100.2 will be broadcasting the daily evening live shows from the Rock Stage@World Beers Area from 9.30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The festival offers both Maltese and tourists the opportunity to sample great quality beers, including local ones such as Cisk Lager, Hopleaf and Blue Label Smooth 'n' Creamy as well as international beer brands namely Cisk Export, Carlsberg, Skol, Budweiser, Guinness, Kilkenny, Corona and Beck's.
For the second year running, beer drinkers will have the opportunity of collecting the official Beer Festival mug as a souvenir.
The Farsons Great Beer Festival and Vodafone Malta have joined together to offer visitors the opportunity to win a mobile phone and consolation prizes consisting of Vodafone merchandise and a signed copy of Ira Losco's latest single I'm In Love Again. The competition, open to Vodafone users, will be held at the Main Stage and the winners are announced every evening.
