A total of 146 overdose cases were reported in the first nine months of the year, including overdoses of illegal drugs and medicinals, Home Minister Tonio Borg told Adrian Vassallo (MLP) in reply to a parliamentary question yesterday.

There were 245 overdose cases in the whole of last year. The lowest number of such cases since 1998 was 149 overdose cases in 1999.
