Overseas trainer for Atlas engineering insurance seminar

Atlas Insurance Agency's commercial lines staff were recently fortunate to learn from the expertise of visiting senior development executive Christina Hall during a two-part intensive training session at the Atlas Group training centre in Ta' Xbiex.

The sessions covered the underwriting and claims handling of various types of engineering insurance which consists of civil engineering and construction plant and machinery.

Atlas Insurance Agency has been a market leader in engineering insurance in Malta for the last few years.

Ms Hall has 15 years' experience in the field and came over to Malta courtesy of AXA Insurance plc.

She is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII), her work based on training, sales, underwriting and commercial surveys.

AXA Insurance plc is a member of the AXA global group, one of the largest insurance and investments groups globally: it has a global workforce of 140,000 and in 2001 had 910 billion euros in assets under management.

AXA is represented in Malta by Atlas Insurance Agency, which is manned by almost 100 staff members and has a branch and sub-agent network throughout Malta and Gozo.
