Following the successful take-up of the Vepri development in Tuscany, lovers of Tuscan landscapes and beauty are in for a new treat, the residential development of Borgo Catignano.
Borgo Catignano comprises 12 country homes, all built in the traditional charm of Tuscan farmhouses. The borgo is located in the hills of the Chianti region, a 30-minute drive away from the medieval town of Volterra (19 km) and San Giminiano (50 km).
All units command breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, including vineyards, sunflower fields, running streams, olive groves and quaint pastures. Common amenities include landscaped gardens and pathways, a central piazza, parking and a panoramic overflow swimming pool. All units are built on two or three levels, in addition to a private garden.
This new, exciting development was launched on the local market last weekend and is currently under construction with the completion date set for autumn 2009. The project is being developed and managed by a number of Maltese and Italian entities and is exclusively sold in Malta by Homes of Quality, members of the Frank Salt Group of Companies, who have also been appointed official agents for the UK market. The company is to launch the development at an international property exhibition in London.
Grahame Salt, director of Homes of Quality, strongly believes in the potential of the Tuscan region among the Maltese, who are interested in owning an exclusive property away from the Maltese shores.
"With prices starting from €350,000, Borgo Catignano makes not only an ideal holiday home, but it also presents an attractive investment opportunity. Its location is private and secluded, yet within easy reach of a number of towns. The views are amazing, with rolling hills for as far as the eye can see."
Country houses at Borgo Catignano can also be bought through joint ownership between friends or relatives and are being sold finished. Inspection visits, together with all arrangements, can be arranged by Homes of Quality. In the event of purchase, part of the inspection trip cost will be refunded.
