Former nurses union president Paul Pace has accepted a request from the Forum Unions Maltin to stay on as president until the next general conference on April 24.

Mr Pace resigned from the Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses on Saturday and subsequently tendered his resignation from the Forum, a confederation of trade unions.

The Forum yesterday rejected his request.
