An 82-year-old woman was robbed by two men who barged into her home and demanded money from her, the police said today.

The incident happened yesterday at about 7.45 p.m. at the woman's house in Palma Street, Paola. 

The police said the burglars, who were hooded, also stole some jewellery.

Magistrate Myriam Hayman is holding an inquiry.
