Part of Triq Anton Vassalli (known as Triq Reġjonali) from junction with Triq Reggie Miller (side-road leading to Zammit Clapp Hospital) and Triq tas-Sliema, south-bound carriageway, will be closed to vehicular traffic due to works between tomorrow at 10 p.m. and midnight on Thursday, Transport Malta said.

The following traffic diversions are being implemented for the duration of the closure:

* Vehicular traffic along Triq Anton Vassalli (before entering the Manwel Dimech Bridge Tunnel area) will be segregated into two lanes. The inner lane will be used by vehicles destined for San Gwann and Kappara. The outer lane will be used for vehicles destined for Sliema and Gżira.

* Vehicular traffic exiting the Manwel Dimech Bridge tunnel in the direction towards San Gwann and Kappara will be diverted to the slip road leading to Triq B’Kara (past Independent offices) and Triq Tas-Sliema.

* Vehicular traffic commuting through Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli destined for Sliema/Gżira will be diverted to Triq Reggie Miller (road leading to Zammit Clapp Hospital) and Triq d’Argens in the direction either towards Triq tas-Sliema.or towards Triq Rodolfu.

Northbound traffic will not be affected.

Transport Malta advised motorists are advised to proceed with caution and to follow directional signage.
