Five Chinese youths studying English in Malta are appealing for the return of the passports they lost while shopping in Bisazza Street, Sliema on Saturday.

The passports were in a plastic bag and were being kept by a friend who was going to book their tickets back home after they completed their course.

The passports are registered under the names of Huang Ye, Li Hung Xin, Shi Cai Jin, Huang Dong and Li Xin Gang.

Anyone who can help is requested to phone the Sliema police or to contact the Chinese embassy in Malta on tel. 2138 4695.
