A 22-year-old man was seriously injured when he was hit by a car in High Street, Mellieħa on Tuesday afternoon.

The police said the Sudanese pedestrian was hit by a Nissan NV200 driven by a 22-year-old man from Fgura.

The vehicle was being driven by a 29-year-old man from Fgura.
