Victor Spiteri of Attard believes that the Malta Labour Party comes closest in meeting the pensioners' objectives (December 16). I am under the impression that it was the Labour government under Dom Mintoff in the year 1973 that brought our pensioners to their present precarious situation. My mind boggles.
