The ship Falvag, moored at Barriera Wharf, had to be assisted by pilots and tug boats this afternoon after it grounded.

Transport Malta confirmed that VTS (Port Control) received a report at 12.24pm and it sent pilots and tugs to shift the boat to another berth.

The situation, TM said, was under control and no apparent damage or pollution were reported.
