The Labour Party has expressed its condolences at the death of David Vella, a party councillor in Marsascala.

The party said Mr Vella had greatly contributed to the benefit of his locality and had been of service to the residents of Marsascala.

Condolences were also expressed by the Nationalist Party and Alternattiva Demokratika.
