Fifteen Malta Maritime Authority employees were recently presented with certificates after completing a first aid course organised by the authority's Human Resources Department.

The objective of the training programme was to familiarise the employees with official policy on emergency and risk situations and to give participants the opportunity to practise related skills and techniques in the event of an emergency.

The course was conducted by the St John Ambulance at the authority's premises.
