"The perfect marriage and the ideal family - so why do 10th anniversary celebrations suddenly turn sour" is the theme of a new play in Maltese.

Divorzju bi prova is being staged by Atturi Salesjani at the Salesian Theatre today and tomorrow. Written by Lino Grech, the play tackles a complicated situation which is often sprinkled with an element of comedy.

The cast, under the direction of Maria Vella, is made up of Ivan and Simone De Battista, Christine Haber, Stradivario Attard and Alan Azzopardi among others.

Performances start at 7.30 p.m. today and at 6.30 p.m. tomorrow. Tickets are available at the door or by calling tel. 2133 1447.
