John G. Cassar Ltd, a company specialising in the supply and installation of playgrounds, has launched a programme aimed at helping local councils and other entities maintain play areas within their responsibility to accepted safety standards.

The Playground Service Programme is based on the European Playground Safety Standard EN1176.

The company said the programme would also help councils conform to their legal obligations with regard to the ongoing maintenance of playgrounds in their locality.
