Playmobil We Fund donation to Ir-Razzett tal-Hbiberija

The sum of Lm9,000 was recently donated to Ir-Razzett tal-Hbiberija as a joint contribution by the Playmobil We Fund and the company itself. The money will be used to buy equipment for their Multi-Sensory Rooms, and to help in the running costs of this new project within Ir-Razzett tal-Hbiberija.

The Multi-Sensory Rooms are specifically designed environments which enable people with special needs to enjoy a very wide range of sensory experiences for therapy, learning, relaxation and fun. The concept is to create events which focus on the senses of touch, vision, sound, smell and taste. The Multi-Sensory Rooms at Razzett tal-Hbiberija will open on Wednesday. This new project will enable people with any degree of disability to change and influence their environment in a positive way.

Ir-Razzett tal-Hbiberija would like to thank all the We Fund members and Playmobil Malta Ltd for their support. Employees at Playmobil, who are members of the We Fund, make a monthly contribution to the fund, which is also supported by an annual company contribution.

Ir-Razzett tal-Hbiberija spends about Lm300,000 a year to provide complementary services to over 1,000 persons with disabilities so this organisation is heavily dependent on donations to survive.
