A Mosta man was yesterday charged with breaking into three cars and trying to break into a fourth at Ta' Qali last year.

Massimo Galea, 22, pleaded guilty to stealing more than Lm100 worth of items from three cars to the detriment of Christopher Sciberras, Eric Saliba and Patrick Cauchi on December 21.

He also pleaded guilty to trying to break into another car and damaging all four cars.

Magistrate Miriam Hayman put off the case for judgment.

Police Inspector Mario Bonello prosecuted.

Dr Franco Debono appeared for Galea.
