The PN expressed concern today that industrial production had declined for the fourth month in a row.
The new figures came shortly after the statistics office confirmed a substantial increase in unemployment and a drop in retail trade, Nationalist Deputy Leader Mario de Marco and spokesman Tonio Fenech and Kristy Debono said in a statement.
Such figures confirmed how the economy was slowing down, especially where they involved private investment, which was the motor of the economy, the MPs said.
