The Nationalist Party has denied that MFCC in any way made a write-off of €1 million in favour of the party.

It also denied that contractor Zaren Vassallo or any company in which he has an interest, such as MFCC in any way committed €350,000 to the PN electoral campaign, as reported in MaltaToday yesterday.

The party said it leases services from MFCC and other suppliers through commercial arrangements, including barter agreements, as is the norm for the two parties.

The party warned that unless the newspaper withdrew the story, it could take legal action.

MFCC also issued a denial yesterday.
