PN launches crowdfund for 'national convention' to shape its policies

The convention will be a space where ideas and experience converge for a more confident and fair Malta

The Nationalist Party has launched a crowdfunding campaign for a national convention it plans to hold in February.

This would not be an ordinary conference, but an exercise where the people would be able to have their say on how they wanted to see the Malta of tomorrow, party leader Alex Borg said in a Facebook message.

The changes and challenges of the present were well known, he said, but they were also an opportunity for all to reflect on where they wanted to take the country in the future.

The convention would be a space where ideas and experience converged for a more confident and fair Malta.

The holding of the convention was a promise made by Borg during the party leadership campaign to build the PN's vision for government.
