PN launches a seven-day 'Christmas village' at Dar Ċentrali

Festive programme will culminate in a fundraiser on Sunday and a mass rally on Monday

The PN launched a seven-day "Christmas village" at its headquarters in Pieta, which will culminate in a fundraiser on Sunday and a mass rally on Monday. 

The party's leader, Alex Borg, launched the programme of events, themed Milied Miegħek (Christmas with you), on Tuesday evening by switching on the Christmas lights decorating the facade of Dar Ċentrali.

The programme includes performances by various singers, artists, bands and choirs, a crib exhibition, a children’s area and visits from Father Christmas.

A coffee morning will be held on Thursday, a Christmas Dinner on Friday and a Christmas 60s Night on Saturday. 

PN Leader Alex Borg and his partner Sarah Bajada will oversee Dawl fis-Skiet on Wednesday evening, an event meant to raise awareness about loneliness during the Christmas season.

Milied Miegħek will culminate on Sunday with a fundraising marathon between noon and 11pm on NET Television and NET FM, and a mass rally in front of the PN headquarters on Monday at 6pm. 

December 15 marks the first 100 days of Borg as PN Leader.

An afterparty featuring various DJs will be held after the mass rally.
