Media.link communications, the Nationalist Party's media organisation, has been going through an extensive restructuring process over the past months and is currently implementing a number of planned changes within all its outlets, the company said.

Anton Attard, general manager, said all changes were based on extensive research carried out over the past year and were geared towards giving a more professional and comprehensive service to the organisation's media users.

He said readers of both the daily and weekly newspapers will observe a number of changes, especially in il-Mument, which is being relaunched to suit the more contemporary consumer.

A major revamp is also being applied to the monthly magazine Life & Style.

Media.link communications is also about to introduce another news service in the form of a portal by which users may keep themselves updated on the day's happenings as they occur, he said.

A number of new programmes will be launched on Net Television and Radio 101 within the October 2004 broadcast schedule.

More prominence is being given to audience participation, not only through phone-ins, SMSs and e-mails, but also through direct involvement, where, in some cases, viewers may take part as the protagonists of particular programmes, Mr Attard said.
