The Nationalist Party's Naxxar section committee is exhibiting photographs entered in a competition, Wirt Kulturali tan-Naxxar, held under the patronage of the Malta Photographic Society, at the PN Naxxar club from Sunday to September 19.

In all 47 prints - 30 colour and 17 monochrome - were submitted for the competition.

Ivan P. Vella won the colour prints section with It-Torri tal-Ghallis; second in this category was Stephen Vella with Sqaq No. 2.

Mr Vella also won first prize in the category for monochrome prints with Balcony Detail and second prize with Nicca - Main Street.

The exhibition will be opened by PN general secretary Joe Saliba on Sunday at 6 p.m. Entrance is free.
