Police arrest 11 people found to be illegally living in Malta

They were rounded up at a Vittoriosa residence

The police rounded up and arrested 11 people who were illegally in Malta and living in one Vittoriosa residence.

The police said in a statement the people are from Bangladesh, Gambia and Senegal.

They are being held at a detention centre and will be returned to their country of origin or another country where they have a residence permit.
